    » The second wave of Covid-19 in Thailand has proved to be challenging to our economic team. Previously, the government has introduced several relief measures to curb the economic impacts from the pandemic including (1) Monetary policy when BoT cut the policy interest rate and (2) Fiscal policies which are about taxs break and government expenditure stimulus programmes e.g. "The 50-50 co-payment scheme". Despite the relief programme, the Thai economy hasn't yet recovered and even slowed down now those schemes are over.

    » Audio-based social networking app Clubhouse has become popular in the past few weeks. The app is similar to a traditional radio station in which a DJ or a moderator allows listeners to participate and speak in a programme. In order to access Clubhouse, users must be invited by a friend and currently, the app is available only on iOS for iPhone and iPad users. Clubhouse has stated that it is working on an Android version but has not set a launch date yet. Due to the app's popularity in Thailand, Clubhouse invitations are being sold on social media and e-commerce websites.

    » Residents of the Mahakan Fort Community were evicted from their homes in 2017 after the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) decided to turn the historic area into a public park. Before everything was torn down, Bangkok Sketcher, a group of artists who draw on location, visited the site to capture the final moments of the community. Three urban sketchers in the group -- Suppachai Vongnoppadondacha, aka Louis Sketcher, Pitirat Yoswattana and Sompong Ngamsangrat -- were overwhelmed to witness the scene and were drawn to the architectural structures that would soon be demolished.

Maslova became his muse for the 2020 exhibition "Venus Resurrection" at River City Bangkok and also his latest printmaking exhibition "Friends" at Kalwit Gallery. "Friends" displays 12 drypoint printmaking artworks and one oil painting inspired by Maslova and her friend Eve Parker.
