    Biker brunch

Guru, Pasavat Tanskul, Published on 18/05/2018

» Food and vehicles may seem like an unlikely collaboration, but if prior efforts are of any evidence, it's that automobile/motorcycle cafes are no strangers to experimentation. From Ducati's concept restaurant a few years back in Thong Lor to Honda's recent collaboration with Greyhound at CUB House in Ekamai, these hybrid eateries are where diners have a meal while attending a casual motorshow. Sathorn's brunch cafe Luka has collaborated with BMW Thailand dealer MF Motorad to bring their second branch named Luka Moto, a cafe that aims to accommodate those with a lifestyle that relies on the need for speed. Having opened in March, the two-floor motorcycle-centric brunch spot is on the ground floor of The Taste Mall on Thong Lor 11, and is a haven for motorbike enthusiasts and brunch fans alike.

Life, Arusa Pisuthipan, Published on 30/03/2018

» First-timers at Baselworld, the planet's largest offline platform by far to showcase new timepieces, would be left totally bedazzled. Baselworld is where watches are no longer just watches and where many don't really care much about functionalities like if the hands are too short or the dial is too small. At Baselworld, watches display brand identity right on wrists of the wearers to proclaim what kind of a person they are and what kind of life they like to live.

    Just a couple of foodies

Guru, Eric E Surbano, Published on 09/02/2018

» It's that time of the year when couples come out in full-force, restaurants are jampacked, roses and chocolates are more expensive, and single people are more bitter than usual. Yes, St Valentine's Day is upon us and that means couples all over the place. We could have just given you a list of places you could go to for a special dinner (actually, we did -- check our Food listings). But in lieu of the upcoming "festivities", if you could call it that, we decided to round up a number of foodie power couples to get to know their favourite restos and what they do during on this romantic day. Perhaps we noobs could learn a thing or two from them.

» Peerapat "Add" Wimolrungkarat is probably the first and last of his kind -- in Thailand, at least. For seven years, he was the appointed photographer for Abhisit Vejjajiva, the 27th prime minister of Thailand. Channelling Pete Souza, the former chief official White House photographer for President Barack Obama, Peerapat had captured the rare, unseen and human moments of Abhisit -- an alternatively loved and hated figure in Thai politics.
