There have probably been better years

» Well, we've just about scraped through 2015, although there have been a few dicey moments. Most of us will be happy to see the back of the Year of the Sheep, or was it the Goat? I never did quite work that out. It is customary at this time to look back on the past 12 months, although there are some events you might prefer to forget. If nothing else it serves as a reminder that Thailand will always be Truly Amazing.

    Getting to know familiar strangers

Life, Pongpet Mekloy, Published on 21/01/2016

» On my way to work I have to pass Victory Monument where I use the elevated pedestrian walkway to reach the BTS station. At the northern end of the walkway, I always pick up a copy of M2F from a newsboy who is positioned there every weekday morning to hand out the free newspaper to passers-by. The dangers of daily life in the capital

News, Umesh Pandey, Published on 15/07/2016

» The front-page picture in our paper yesterday showing how much damage a 20-minute fire, that started randomly at On Nut BTS station, could cause took many of us by surprise and I for one am not buying the statement that the construction quality of the station's elevator was "standard".
