• Jason McDonald commented : I am about to fly back to Bangkok today and enter Thailand for the 16th or so time. I have never had any problems everyone has been extremely pleasant and welcoming. The time before last I went to the Thai passport only line and they still stamped my passport with the 90 day stay and were very nice and friendly to me. No I am not Thai. They always smile and sometimes even joke a little with me. Well I think that's what they're doing as I only speak a little Thai. Same goes for Vietnam a month ago. The guy on the desk was very friendly to my wife and I. She got the 30 day stamp and I got the 90 day stamp. The only problem was the person was a bit confused as my wife can only stay 30 days in VN because she's Thai whereas I can stay 90 days. But after I explained we were only staying 10 days this time around he was happy and just said have a great stay in VN. So I guess there are good and bad stories everywhere.
