It's all about the copy, right?

Life, Yanapon Musiket, Published on 03/10/2012

» There is a thin line between "inspiration" and "copying" in the art world. The 90s kids think Lady Gaga is revolutionary in pop culture, while many of Madonna's die-hard fans think instead of being born that way she is nothing but a copycat. The debate continues.

When getting stopped does not stop

Life, Napamon Roongwitoo, Published on 04/10/2012

» I used to enjoy taking a stroll around the department store, when it was all about free air-conditioning, window shopping and walking aimlessly. » October 1 is a remarkable day for Thai AirAsia, the giant low-cost airline. It will move its operation base from Suvarnabhumi airport to Don Muang airport. The relocation will bring about 10,000 more passengers to Don Muang airport per day, according to Airports of Thailand (AoT). At present, Don Muang services flights for Nok Air, OrienThai, Solar Air and charter flights. AoT expects more low-cost airlines to follow suit. With the move, Don Muang then will be known among passengers as a low-cost airline hub.

Life, Peerawat Jariyasombat, Published on 02/10/2012

» I love to work by the window. In front of the desk in my house on the outskirts of Bangkok I can see flowers, trees, birds and squirrels, and the serenity of my tiny garden allows me to relax while writing articles.

Radio Ga Ga

Life, Usnisa Sukhsvasti, Published on 24/09/2012

» I was dreading September 11. Nothing to do with 9/11, with all due respect. I thought I was the only one, but from the letters from our esteemed readers to our Postbag column, I can safely say that I'm not the only old fogey around here.
