» As a long-time resident of Bangkok who has for years begged the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration to install adequate drainage to alleviate flooding in Soi Piphat, Silom whenever it rains, I would appreciate learning how the BMA has the funds to send the governor on an “official” trip to Portugal and spend 39 million baht on temporary illuminations in front of City Hall, while insisting it has no money to install proper drains where I live.
