    Lucky German recovers jewelry

    Published on 02/07/2013

» An attempted theft by a ladyboy on the beach near Tipp Plaza had a fortunate outcome when the thief failed to put the stolen diamond pendant in her shoe as she had planned. German tourist Martin Freidl, 42, told police that he received the unwelcome attentions of the ladyboy who offered a seasonal discount in return for sex. As the German retreated, the transvestite snatched the expensive item from around the tourist’s neck but, in the struggle, misjudged putting it in her shoe—losing it on the sand. The pendant lay on the beach for about half an hour before a search returned it to the lawful owner. Freidl did not press charges as his property had been returned.

Staff at the three retail outlets admitted they knew about the pills which were brought secretly to Pattaya from a Bangkok factory. They added that most of the sales went to older foreigners who didn’t care whether the pills were authentic or not, just as long as they worked.  Statements from staff were taken at the police station and the matter referred to the prosecutor’s office.

Thief claims women’s undies are his

    Published on 15/09/2012

» A 36-year-old man was chased down Sukhumvit Road, South Pattaya, after witnesses saw him emerging from an apartment complex with computer parts, women’s underwear and a sex toy described as a black penis. Wichart Premonchart admitted he had visited a room in the apartment block but claimed all the items belonged to him and were not stolen. However, this defence collapsed when the women’s clothes proved to be too small to fit him. Police later confirmed that Wichart had stolen the items. His escape was slowed down by the large number of items he was carrying, which led to his capture.
