» The death of Katnipa Boontien, a 21-year-old Thai single mother, should not go unnoticed. Authorities must find out whether she was murdered by a human trafficking ring that lured her to work in Bahrain. Katnipa died after falling from a building in capital Manama on April 22. The cause of death is still unclear. As of press time, it was reported that Bahrain police were investigating the case. But her death should not be treated as an isolated criminal case. Her family suspected that she was a victim of an international trafficking ring that lured women to work in Bahrain. If it is proven, this is a serious crime.
