» In 2017, the Japanese band Minyo Crusaders released their debut album, Echoes Of Japan (P-Vine, Japan), to great acclaim. The band's reworking and updating of Japanese folk music, or minyo, on a rhythmic bed of Caribbean, Latin and Afrobeat was truly inspired, and perhaps pointed the way for other fusion bands in East and Southeast Asia. » There were about 200,000 new cases of cancer in Thailand in 2020. Recent advances in the fields of surgical oncology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology have immensely improved the results of cancer treatment. Even with the best multidisciplinary treatment, in more than half of the patients, cancer will recur and require further treatment with the aim of palliation to improve the quality of life and hopefully prolong life. Radiation therapy is an important cancer treatment modality with curative intent or palliative aims. Modern advanced radiation therapy techniques make it possible to deliver high doses of radiation to the tumour while minimising the doses to surrounding normal tissue. » Pinocchio is the latest to join Disney's assembly line of turning classic cartoons into computer-generated live-action remakes. In this film, Forrest Gump (1994), Cast Away (2000) and The Polar Express (2004) director Robert Zemeckis is reunited with Tom Hanks, who retells the tale of a wooden puppet who embarks on a thrilling adventure to become a real boy. Despite the high-budget production, and the director's attempt to bring an old-fashioned story with a modern voice, Pinocchio feels somewhat lifeless and in the middle of the mediocre pack.
