Putting people in another perspective

Life, Karnjana Karnjanatawe, Published on 10/04/2012

» Blame it on the local media which has shaped a stereotype of Myanmar people as vicious killers. For years Thai media has reported news of Myanmar employees or maids killing their Thai employers, presenting them as violent people.

When slogans need a miracle

Life, Karnjana Karnjanatawe, Published on 18/01/2012

» 2012 kicks off Thailand's new tourism slogan: "Miracle Thailand". But how many people here know that? I did a rough survey among people around me on what they thought our slogan was and the answers I received were 'Amazing Thailand' or 'Unseen Thailand'.
