    IS Thailand Safe?

    » Thailand is relatively safe, many of the statistics you cite are largely Thai-Thai. All countries have areas best avoided, Thailand is no different, but for the most part I think it is quite safe. Mind you this will vary depending whether you are in Chiang Mai or Pattaya.

A whole family on a motorcycle, wow, maybe you should extole the dexterity of such people!! (I have a job taking care of a motorcycle when I am the only one on it!) Think positive, unless you want the PC briggade here as well! Ever go to Italy and see how many they can get on a scooter?

    • thequaife commented : As long as you are a foreigner in any countries, you are automatically become and easy target for the locals. At the end of the day,it is all about business. So please... NEGOTIATE. After all the locals need to earn money. Try Italy for christ sake... it is the real special price for any foreigner.
