A Buffet That's NEXT2 Café Perfection
Holiday Time, Published on 16/12/2016
» Now before I begin I've got a small confession to make. I'm a buffetholic and proud of it. I mean an evening of fine dining over a plate of Albanian escargots cooked in prune juice accompanied by a medley of apple seeds with a hint of daffodils is all well and good but what I really crave is a selection of food which wouldn't look out of place at the United Nations General Assembly. Guru, Mika Apichatsakol, Published on 16/12/2016
» The settingPalm fronds, good music, and a pink neon sign mark this little open-air oasis in Charoen Krung's industrial Soi 28. There is so much to describe, from the crazy hand-painted walls and the checkerboard floors to the hot pink bar stools, oversized hanging lightbulbs and a really old school pinball "machine" just sitting there in the back. But even with eyes closed, there's the glorious sounds of Bowie and The Beatles pulling you in.

Handpicked hamper
Guru, Jarupat Buranastidporn, Published on 16/12/2016
» If we had it our way, the government would reconsider its stance on free speech and developers would stop building so many bloody malls. But since that's not how the world works (or at least Thailand anyway), we think it's probably a better idea to save our breaths, shut our gobs and indulge in the finer things in life instead. After all, it is the holiday season, which automatically means that calories don't count and three glasses is a perfectly decent number of vino to be had.
