No need to rush on TPP

ยป The government is rushing to join the US-led Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP). It claimed to be studying the treaty, but in fact has asked Japan to help it gain membership. The only reason given is, in essence, other countries are doing it. This is strange reasoning. In fact, one should ask if it is worth paying the high price it will cost to belong to the TPP, or any Pacific-oriented trade group that excludes China by design.
