Failed cyclist cause

» I would like to express my deepest condolences to the widow of Chilean world cyclist Juan Francisco Guillermo for the death of her brave and heroic husband. But she needs to know that no matter how hard she tries to fight for her rights, she will eventually fail as there are so many similar cases which remain unresolved due to the corrupt judicial system in this country.

Thai boats to the rescue

» How about some boats along the Andaman coast stock up on water bottles and travel out to sea to hand them out? At the beginning of WWII, there was a rag-tag flotilla of privately owned boats which went from the English coast to the Dutch coast to pick up soldiers who were facing death. Those boats’ skippers didn’t wait for an official nod to do so. Granted, it was a different scenario, but the similarity to today’s scenario is that hundreds of people are facing death.
