Stop road carnage

News, Postbag, Published on 22/10/2015

» Re: "Thailand’s roads second-deadliest in world", (Online, Oct 20). Whether Thailand ranks second or first globally — compared with Libya (Thailand probably actually comes first due to an estimated 42% of fatalities not being reported annually) in the rate of deaths due to road accidents — makes no difference. Is the internet not workable any more for foreigners? How can a foreign company work here?

112 debate welcome

News, Postbag, Published on 22/08/2015

» Re: "King's views key", (PostBag Aug 20), "Section 112 essential", (PostBag, Aug 18) and "Follow King's advice", (PostBag, Aug 13). It is heartening to read such a thoughtful and considered exchange of views on a sensitive subject, particularly at such a fraught time for Thailand.
