With invitation cards in hand bearing the image of the "queen of the circus" in a graceful acrobatic pose, guests turned out in large numbers for the show headlined "Central Summer Fest 2013: Le Style Movement by Erika Lemay". When the highly anticipated moment arrived on opening night, March 29, MC Saraichat "Ning" Kunchorn Jeeraphat introduced the agile star, who had flown in from her native Canada.

Indigo pearl shows an eclectic

» The Indigo Pearl Phuket resort was the venue for a unique art exhibition called FACE, short for fashion, art, cuisine and entertainment. The event, held in the resort's Rivet restaurant, had all that and more. Hosts Prakaikaew Na-Ranong, deputy managing director at Indigo Pearl, and Kelly Lewis, the resort's jovial general manager, greeted guests who began arriving in the early evening at a reception in the restaurant's courtyard, which had been set up as an exhibition area. The courtyard was bordered with large canvases by award-winning Lebanese designer and artist Pierre Koukjian. Growing up in Germany, France and the Middle East, Koukjian came to the arts through jewellery making. He discovered that painting, sculpture and jewellery are all complementary art forms.

» Hair-trodden children of the public school world unite! There is movement from the Ministry of Jurassic Education, showing signs of life and change. So there is a thought process going on within its ancient walls of perpetual hibernation, after all. And the latest is that someone has questioned the antiquated rule of regulation haircuts for young schoolchildren and whether it's absolutely necessary for the intellectual development of a child. There are complaints that it is against our constitutional rights.
