» Miss International Queen is a world-class beauty pageant for transgender people. The prelimary rounds start in November but the final round is usually held much later. All finalists are required to attend a week-long camp with various activities. In 2004, the first year the competition was held, Poy Treechada from Thailand was crowned the inaugural queen. This year's winner was Nguyen Huong Giang from Vietnam.
