    Ajinomoto and BIG Collaborate for Sustainable Carbon Reduction

(BIG), recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at collaborating on the examination and analysis of methods to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the production processes of food seasonings, Umami Seasoning, Ajinomoto food products, and utility systems at the factory. This collaboration will leverage the Carbon Accounting Platform developed by BIG, a leading player in climate technology. The platform's primary role will be to measure carbon dioxide emissions during the manufacturing of Ajinomoto's diverse food products, enabling the company to enhance its energy management guidelines and work towards achieving "Carbon Neutrality." Ajinomoto's ultimate goal is to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, contributing to the sustainable well-being of Thai society. The signing ceremony took place at the Celadon room, Sukhothai Hotel in Bangkok.
