    Sorry state of Bangkok's trees

    Life, Published on 05/07/2012

» The rainy season has arrived and Bangkokians are worried about more major floods happening again this year. The protection systems are not ready and the restoration of structures that were damaged last year are not yet finished. » Before ushering the Bangkok Theatre Festival (BTF) into its 10th year, Nut Nualpang, founder of Saosoong Theatre and this year's festival programme director, strapped the regular members of the Bangkok Theatre Network (BTN), comprising a handful of small professional theatre companies, onto the operating table. Guru, Published on 09/03/2012

» It's easy to move around Thailand thanks to the multitude of public transport options available. However travel can present an obstacle course of oddities from high decibel karaoke buses to tricky taxi drivers intent on showing unsuspecting guests a jolly good time. However as a great philosopher once said, "Keep your friends close and your public transport enemies even closer so you may be able to smell their B.O". In other words, it pays to know who you will meet on your travels in the city and beyond.
