    » Mr. Thongdee Paso, Managing Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., received an honorary plaque as ‘The Outstanding Supporter’ in the category of company that contributes to Thai society and local community, from Mr. Thana Cheeravinij, Secretary to the Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, in the 2022 Annual General Meeting of the Provincial Press Association of Thailand (57th PPAT) which was honourably presided over by Mr.Jurin Laksanawisit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce. Ajinomoto promotes education for children of journalists of the Provincial Press Association of Thailand by continuously providing education funds for 14 consecutive years.

    Ajinomoto holds 2022 Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders

    » Mr. Ichiro Sakakura, President of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., recently presided over the 2022 Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in order to report the company’s business performance in fiscal year 2021. The meeting also revealed the company’s business plan for fiscal year 2022, including the Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) framework under its shared value commitment to become "The most reliable food company in Thailand". In this respect, the company aims to contribute to sustainability by reducing environmental impacts, thereby also promoting better health and life. The meeting was attended by company directors and shareholders at Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd’s head office in Bangkok.

    » Recently, Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd. and Department of Agricultural Extension led by Mr.Varong Prayoonpong, Managing Director of Ajinomoto Co., (Thailand) Ltd., Mr.Kazuyuki Nakamura, President of FD Green (Thailand) Co., Ltd. under The Ajinomoto Group of Companies in Thailand, and Mr.Kemkaeng Yutidhammadamrong, Director-General Department of Agricultural Extension, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) of "Cooperation in Plant Protection Promotion and Soil-Fertilizer Management" to agree and commit to cooperate and support Thai cassava farmers in solving the cassava mosaic disease (CMD) problem, as well as to promote and develop work on soil management from by-products to be used to make organic fertilizers.
