    We ain't Nate, mate

Life, Apipar Norapoompipat, Published on 21/07/2017

» Nathan Bartling, aka "My Mate Nate", is a hero to some and a low-life to many. The Mormon missionary-turned-local-YouTube star has been plastered all over the news this week once again -- finding himself on the end of public outrage after his latest stunt of trying to flatten coins on Bangkok's railroad tracks. His work is on show at Thong Lor Art Space until Feb 20.

Sky-high prices and a failing public transport system

Life, Apipar Norapoompipat, Published on 04/09/2017

» Sitting gridlocked inside a taxi while inching closer to the BTS, where my fate of being shoved around inside a carriage of full people awaits, I can't help but sneer at the large bright-blue poster displayed so shamelessly on the BTS skywalk. It reads "Krungthep ... chewit dee dee tee long tua", which can roughly be translated as "Bangkok ... A life that's perfect and balanced".
