» I'm an US citizen living here in Northern California. I researched the US consulate in Bangkok and US Immigration (USCIS.gov) and sort of understand...

Fortunately, he had many such photos, since she is the daughter of family friends, and they have known each other practically all their lives. We will have a traditional Thai wedding in November followed by a civil ceremony in the U.S. in December. This is exactly what my husband and his now-ex-wife did when they married 33 years ago.

    • Anonymous commented : would be very happy with free airline tickets and greencards. Many girls with dependent children would be happy for the same offers. Dowery/bride pride is for traditional Thai girls who have pertained their virginity for their future husbands. However, it is customary for husbands to give gifts for their brides at the wedding ceremony. In every countries, women love to have wedding ceremony. So it would very nice for their men to show off their wives to their friends and relatives.

    Thai Divorce law

By Anonymous, Created on: 02/12/2004, Last updated on: 09/01/2009

» I heard from a farang that under Thai law men can divorce women in two days. But for a woman, it takes two years. The reasoning being that women are thought of as temperamental creatures, prone to wild mood swings, who need plenty of time to calm down...

    • Anonymous commented : irbus for example, if the US airlines go belly up, Airbus would not be far behind. The Europeans would suffer just as much. Thailand does not take advantage of the money that would be available if they allowed outsiders to own land. If I could I would build a very nice house between Pathum Thani and Ayudiya. I would let my family stay and take care of it. But it would have to belong to me. I can not take it anywhere. Iwould pay Thais for the material and labor to build it. It would be a win, win situation for Thailand and my family. Why must I own it you ask. As with all families, some times they feud and fight. I would make sure nobody can control the other because of who owns the house.

    new airport and don muang

There are many cities around the world with multiple International Airports. The proposal to allow domestic flights and...

No water spouts at the new airport

» along with the current problems, it looks like there is not a single drinking water spout before security at the new airport. • Anonymous commented : both airports for commercial airlines, private airplanes, and military aircrafts. The new SUV with larger facility could serve as aircraft maintenance center for SEA. While training facilities could be done at both airports. Many of the Thai Airway domestic flights could be operate from the old Don Muang since it would be convenient for travellers already at hotels in Bangkok. It would be good for business communities in general to have both airports operating. I am think about jobs for Thais and flexibility of services.

    • Anonymous commented : king -in the flight with my airline for Atlanta, USA. on Feb. 2, around 10:00 PM. I was heading to the Immigration booths, with my 700 THB in my hand , ready to pay for airport tax at the boot by the entrance. Turned out all the boots were not open at that time. To my surprise, the Thai official ladies who minding the entrance let every passenger go in without paying airport tax. At first I was a little hesitate ( didn't know what's going on. ). Then the Thai officer announced " It's free, no need receipt." Upon hearing that I joined the rest of the crowd .
