News, Roger Crutchley, Published on 10/01/2021

» A number of readers -- well, three -- have asked why last week's column did not contain the usual predictions for the coming year. This is a result of spending four decades in Thailand not wearing seat belts in the back -- primarily because there weren't any.

News, Roger Crutchley, Published on 11/09/2016

» As a kid, I was fascinated by the name of a pub near my grandmother's home in Farnborough, Hampshire.
