The recent launch of Prism (fb.com/PrismDigitalMagazine), an LGBT bilingual digital magazine —the first of its kind in the country — is another big moment for diversity in Thailand. Prism's editor-in-chief , Theerawat "Tina" Tongmitr, 32, tells us how she aims to realistically represent and promote understanding of Thailand's LGBT community. » Siravitch "Jai Sira" Kamonworawut is best known for his meticulous impersonation of Madonna, as well as other celebrities and movie characters. Jai, who graduated with a master's degree in Arts Administration from Central Queensland University, has performed professionally as a drag queen in Thailand and Australia. He also runs an online imported wig shop (fb.com/Sirawigs, www.sirawigs.com), has a YouTube channel for make-up tutorials, and has fitted wigs and done make-up for Thai celebrities.

However, Dan has also been a longtime comic fan, even winning the sud yod fan pan tae (super fan) title fromFan Pan Tae (a TV quiz show in which hardcore enthusiasts for different subjects compete to find out who’s the most knowledgeable) in the superhero category in 2006. He also has another role as the creator of the first Thai American-style superhero comic book calledThe Mavericks . Its third issue was released last week.
