The flight of the Eagle Hunters

» Ten years ago, photographer Jatenipat Ketpradit, also known as JKBoy, embarked on a journey to Mongolia to capture portraits of the Eagle Hunters Tribe. Accompanied by a local guide, Jatenipat had to go door to door to search for members of the clan as only a few still make a living from the profession these days.

» A new art gallery, Art Space, which is a joint initiative between Moca Bangkok and Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, is adorned with the art collection "Eat Drink Love – Celebrating Life' by ceramicist Nino Sarabutra. The elegant gallery showcases 201 multicoloured heart shapes, 365 illuminated drink bottles, 4,000 porcelain flying butterflies, and a ceramic dinnerware set, "Black Ripples", on a 12m-long dining table. These items are from previous collections created by the ceramicist; however, Nino did not include her lauded ceramic skulls here.

» An object matters differently to different people. Some might see value, others might see none. Thai artists Watcharapong Khunart and Akaraphon Phiphatpokaphol interpret such a concept and present "Stuff Matters", an art exhibition now on view at Kalwit Studio and Gallery, to depict the existence of objects from different perspectives.

» When Si Quey was accused of murdering seven children back in 1950s, the Chinese immigrant also was believed to have removed his victims' organs, boiling them before eating. After the murders that took place in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom and Rayong, Si Quey was arrested in Rayong in 1958, reportedly in possession of the body of a boy, together with an extracted heart and liver. He confessed to the murder but denied charges of cannibalism.
