    • Anonymous commented : First of all, I would like to sincerely thank everyone who contributed to this post. Thank you all for helping others find relationship help internationally! The update to my little story is that she applied for a tourist visa and was denied, unfortunately. She told me that the officer cited her age (21) and her relatively short time enlisted in the army (2 years). I find that extremely demoralizing because any European 21 year old can visit the U.S. any time they want. It is ridiculous that she was denied because of her age and her time with the military (she had actually been going to the Army School of Music since she was 16), besides the fact that she is also currently enrolled in a four year program in college and has signed approval from both school and work to take the time off to visit America. I think that the only course of action left for me now is to file a I-129F form, bring her over as a fiance, then send her back when she's done with her vacation. That way, next time she goes for a tourist visa she can make an argument with the embassy that if she had wanted to stay, she would have, and coming over as a fiance was the only way she could see me!
