» Microsoft began peddling the Kin, a smart phone that seems certain to trash the Apple iPhone just like the Microsoft Zune trashed the Apple iPod; it's a social phone, explained Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft's entertainment division, which has a camera and access to music, and who else but Microsoft ever would have thought of that, never mind the slide-out keyboard and touch screen; the Kin, made by Sharp, allows fast sharing of information with contacts in the phone book; critics liked it and Gartner analyst Van Baker called it a "very good entry" in the phone market; it did, however, raise one obvious question: Microsoft has an entertainment division?
