» Though the rainy season has officially started in some parts of the country, it appeared we were in luck when rain clouds drifted off Phuket. The Sun was shining and the sky was clear when we arrived at Visit Panwa Pier, where a fleet of speedboats and catamarans were cruising the water to pick up passengers.

» When I visited Ayutthaya Historical Park last week, I noticed some tourists posing for photos among the ruined temples while wearing classic period attire. My companions and I started to perspire under the brilliant blue sky and soaring temperatures, but they carried on happily exploring various places to take in the nostalgic atmosphere. I could not help but admire how eager they were to enjoy their vacation.

» A mountain of sea waste has ruined marine ecosystems from south to east. During October 2018 to September last year, some 150 sea turtles and 67 dolphins were found dead on the beaches of Rayong, Chon Buri, Chanthaburi and Trat, according to records from the Marine and Coastal Resources, Research and Development Center, the Eastern Gulf of Thailand (MCRRDCE).
