» เจ้าของร้านจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์เข็มกลัดสำหรับติดผ้าคลุมฮิญาบ กำลังช่วยติดเข็มกลัดให้กับหญิงสาวไทย-มุสลิม ในงานมุสลิมไทยแฟร์ ครั้งที่ 4 วิถีงดงามบนแผ่นดิน พหุวัฒนธรรม ที่ ลานพลาซ่า อินดอร์สเตเดี้ยมหัวหมาก (กกท.) ถนน.รามคำแหง เขต บางกะปิ กรุงเทพมหานคร ถึงวันที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน 2561 ฮิญาบ (อาหรับ: حجاب) หรือภาษามลายูปัตตานีว่า กาเฮงกลูบง คือผ้าคลุมศีรษะของผู้หญิงมุสลิม ซึ่งศาสนาอิสลามระบุให้ผู้หญิงสวมผ้าคลุมผมจนปิดหน้าอก เพื่อเป็นการปกปิดร่างกายให้มิดชิด เป็นการสำรวม การคลุมผ้า ของสตรีมุสลิมนั้นไม่ใช่ประเพณีของอาหรับ แต่เป็นบทบัญญัติของศาสนา ฮิญาบ แปลว่า ปิดกั้น-การคลุมฮิญาบของสตรีอิสลาม เป็นการปฏิบัติธรรม เฉกเช่นสตรีในศาสนาอื่นปฏิบัติธรรมนั่นเอง การมีคุณธรรมประจำตน ทำให้สังคมมีศีลธรรมลดปัญหาสังคมต่างๆ-การคลุมฮิญาบของสตรีนั้น โดยทั่วไป จะเปิดเผยแค่ใบหน้าและฝ่ามือ ส่วนการปิดจนเหลือแต่ลูกตานั้นเป็นทัศนะที่ปฏิบัติเพื่อป้องกันตนเองจากฟิตนะห์ (ความไม่ดีไม่งามทางสังคม) เช่น ป้องกันการถูกแซว หรือ การหยอกล้อเชิงชู้สาวจากเพื่อนชาย เป็นต้น-การปิดหน้าจนเหลือแต่ลูกตา ไม่ได้มีไว้เพื่อปิดบังตัวเอง จากการทำสิ่งไม่ดี หรือ เพื่อเจตนากระทำสิ่งต่าง ๆ โดยไม่ให้ผู้อื่นรู้ว่าตนเองเป็นใคร เพื่อไม่ให้ใครจำได้ เช่น ยามปกติ(หมายถึงการใช้ชีวิตปกติทั่วๆไปก็ใส่ฮิญาบธรรมดา) ก็ไม่ได้ปิดหน้าปิดตา การกระทำเช่นนี้ เป็นสิ่งที่ไม่ถูกต้อง เช่นนี้ไม่ใช่เจตนาของอิสลาม ที่ใช้ศาสนาอำพราง กระทำในสิ่งไม่ดี-การปิดหน้านั้นไม่ใช่เพื่อป้องกันฝุ่นทะเลทรายหรือประเพณี เพียงเพราะว่าอิสลามมาจากประเทศแทบอาหรับทะเลทราย แต่มาจากบทบทบัญญัติศาสนา ในเรื่องการคลุมฮิญาบ และป้องกันสิ่งที่ไม่ดี(ภาษาอาหรับเรียกว่าฟิตนะห์) และแสดงถึงการมีธรรมะโดยการปฏิบัติธรรมPublished caption : A seller pins a brooch on the hijab of a customer at the Muslim Thai Fair at the Indoor Stadium Hua Mark in Bangkok.
