» There are a surprising number of webtops out there on the Internet, so surprising that it makes you wonder what all the fuss is about. After all, a webtop is simply a web page that acts like a computer operating system. The webtop screen looks a lot like your computer desktop, offering access to email, calendaring, word processing, instant messaging and so on - some even come with their own web browser (a browser within a browser - what's the point of that?).
