» How much should Channel 3 pay for its 10-year concession extension? Half a billion baht? One billion? How about something along the lines of a trillion and a half? Broadcasting and telecommunications are converging in more ways than one and perhaps Thailand should rethink whether it actually needs a spectrum-hogging UHF broadcaster in this day and age, and if the resources could be put to better use elsewhere.
