» At its 2014 CES press conference, LG officially announced its wearable fitness tracker, the Lifeband Touch, along with its companion, Heart Rate Earphones. The Lifeband Touch will play your heart rate into your ear to let you hear exactly how fast your heart is beating. It links to an Android phone, iPhone or dedicated heart rate monitor via Bluetooth and in addition to providing several key fitness statistics and functions, can tell the time and alert you when you've received a text or call. The earphones feature PerformTek sensor technology, which measures blood flow from the external part of the ear. Both devices will be available in the first half of 2014.
