» In the Andaman Sea off Satun's coast, the long-tailed boat slows down before reaching a small sandbar which is only 2m wide. I jump and walk on it while waves tirelessly splash from both sides during low tide. Within minutes, the sandbar expands and stretches out further.

» Just a short drive from bustling Bangkok, Chanthaburi is a calm coastal town perfect for a break from the city. A long beach stretches for kilometres, looking resplendent under bright blue sky and alongside the azure sea, which is almost as smooth as glass.
