» A passion for knowledge has driven Supaporn Pitiporn to do things beyond the basic duty of a pharmacist. During the past 30 years, she has trekked through forests or climbed mountains to meet moh ya phuenban, or folk healers, in remote villages, where she has learned and recorded formulas for remedies of herb-based drugs within and outside the country.
