Suga/Agust D release D-Day on the way

» Suga -- BTS member and talented rapper, songwriter, composer and producer in his own right -- has set a release date for his latest solo album. D-Day, under Suga's pseudonym Agust D, will be available from Friday. The 10-track album completes a trilogy that began with Agust D, the performer's self-titled debut album in 2016 which was followed by D-2 in 2020.

Challenging the norm

» After reading two books with red-coloured covers -- bell hooks' All About Love and Tara Costello's Red Moon Gang, Chanaradee Chatrakul Na Ayudhya, better known as juli baker and summer, became triggered by issues in the books, including relationships, politics, capitalism and menstruation. In order to convey the messages she perceived in the books, Chanaradee tracked her emotions throughout her 28-day menstruation cycle and transformed them into sketches. Inspired by her daily events, the artist created 29 paintings, one fibreglass sculpture and one animation for her latest exhibition titled "She's Too Much". All rough sketches are displayed at the showcase.

» During the time when Chalida Kunalai, a scent designer, was creating a mackerel odour for a set of 12 children's books titled Ni Than Lom Hai Jai (Scent Tales), a cat often roamed near the front door of her office, NOSEstory. Eventually she let the cat in the office, where it indeed nosed around to find the appetising fish. There was no mackerel, but there was some proof Chalida had succeeded.

» Corrado Feroci, an accomplished sculptor and painter, was nominated by the Italian government to fill a teaching position in the Siamese civil service upon the Kingdom's request. Feroci, who graduated from the Royal Art Academy of Florence, arrived in Siam on Jan 14, 1923, and later adopted the Thai name Silpa Bhirasri.
