Its ramifications have made the situation deteriorate in the course of months, with thousands of cases reported daily and a spike in fatalities. Their efforts to vaccinate the nation against the virus have also been a flop and the country's health system is in shambles and has been unable to cope with the rising number of infected patients. The impact this has had on the average Thai has been insurmountable.
