    Missing, but not forgotten

Life, Pattramon Sukprasert, Published on 26/01/2016

» In 2006, Chaipas "Ten" Danguagul went out to play with his friends. He never came home. His father went to the police but since Chaipas was missing for less than 24 hours, the police refused to file a missing persons' report. His father patrolled the neighbourhood to search for his son all night, but came up blank. The next day Chaipas' parents went to the police station, but were met with resistance again, when a policeman on duty said a missing person is not a criminal case.

The taxing issue of eco-friendly cars

Life, Pattramon Sukprasert, Published on 16/12/2015

» Many people expect the upcoming new year to mark a new beginning but apparently 2016 will not be a good time for those who want to buy a new car as the new excise tax structure will be implemented, starting from Jan 1. The new vehicle excise tax will be based on carbon dioxide emissions, E85-gasohol compatibility and fuel efficiency which means only those who go for eco-friendly cars will not be affected by higher taxes.
