» In Saturday's story entitled "SCB sees hope in bad loans" on B1 of the Business section, we misstated that the bank would lower its loan-loss provisions to 5 billion baht per quarter in the second half of this year. In fact, chief financial officer Kittiya Todhanakasem said SCB normally puts aside provisions of 5 billion baht each quarter and the bank has yet to decide how much the impairment charges will be for the second half. We regret the error.
