This year, there are 17 teams in the final round, shortlisted from over 100 submissions nationwide. Last week, three teams of students were announced as winners in three categories — "World Citizenship", "Games" and "Innovation" — and will receive royal trophies from HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, a cash prize of 100,000 baht and a chance to compete to participate in the World Finals in July.
