    Buying property in Thailand

By Anonymous, Created on: 17/02/2006, Last updated on: 11/11/2011

» Nothing much to say here is there, i think that IAN has told us all there is to know and believe me.......... .he's right.

    • Anonymous commented : The Thai government should follow what they do in Cyprus. Anyone who is not a Cypriot is allowed to buy an amount of land in which he can build one house and have a medium sized garden, I believe that the area that can be bought is about 800 square meters. Additionally, the area where you can buy is also in various zones. This precludes a group of foreigners from buying up half the beach. One for Rooster. You seem to be mighty proud of your association with the US of A. Why don't you go back to school there (the VA runs assisted schooling - or did) and learn how to spell and write English which is readily understood?

    • Anonymous commented : To Tom (Aug. 25), Unfortunately, Thailand is not Cyprus and Cyprus is not Thailand. These two countries are completely opposite in every which way. You seem like the Cyprus runs it course of laws on foreigner's property ownership. It would be wised if you move and live there or any place that the laws favor your liking. Leave Rooster alone ! It's not very nice of you to attack anyone personelly. I'm one of the regular forum readers for the past four years. I had come to admire some of the authers on these postings. They are intelligent, worldly knowledge, trueful and logic. WHY does it concern you if Rooster is fiercely protec the US ? Why ? Why ?

    • Anonymous commented : To Tom (Aug. 25), Unfortunately, Thailand is not Cyprus and Cyprus is not Thailand. It complely opposite in every which way. You seem to be totally taken by Cyprus's laws on foreigners's property ownership. It would be wised if you move and live there or anywhere that the laws cater to you liking. Also it's not nice to attack Rooster personelly. I only known Rooster from regular reading from this forums for the past few years. I overlook his sometimes missed-spelling, to concentrate on the facts, intellectual discuss and well points he took. I don't understand ' his mighty proud of the USA ' bothers you so much. Why ? Why ? Thais are a grateful lot. We are raised to return favor to person or country that had done a good deed on our lives. For this I admire the man for being trueful to his adopted land.
