» It's not news that the Thai film industry is doing well and the films being produced are not just successful in Thailand, are also gaining recognition outside the country. Thai blockbusters, however, are the usual: rom-coms, comedies, horror movies, horror-comedies, with a few action movies thrown in for good measure. But these aren't the entirety of the movies being made in the Kingdom. Just last week, Manta Ray won an award at the Venice Film Festival. With that in mind, we've compiled a list of other Thai films that have not only gained recognition outside of Thailand but have also received awards.

A Harrow alum, he studied art and design at Central Saint Martins and Chelsea College of Art & Design. He's now back in Thailand where he recently opened a new exhibition entitled "Transitions" at Tadu Contemporary Art by Thaiyarnyon. » There's a widespread misconception that eating healthy means having to sacrifice tasty food. "Eating healthy" is a relative term too, but get specific and say "vegan" and some people may get turned off quickly. For a meat-eater like me, vegan food was something that I had very little interest in trying but after trying Nourish Cafe Bangkok I'm inclined to start considering eating vegan for some of my meals.
