» Bangkok can be a paradoxical city. Everyone pretty much takes it easy and everything is sabai sabai and though that's mostly a good thing, there are times you want some excitement. On the other hand, sometimes you walk out of the office after a gruelling day only to be met by the headache-inducing commute of a crowded train or heavy traffic. So how do you get your dose of excitement and at the same time let off some steam? Perhaps you go to the gym. Perhaps you and your friends gather for one or two friendly matches of football. » Tiny Tree started out as an online terrarium shop on IG. They've got two locations and are planning to add one more, but it's only at their store on Sukhumvit 31 that they serve a brunch-and-coffee-style menu. It's a way to have their customers participating in their weekend terrarium workshops, something to munch on while in the midst of it, but over time it's also become a place for people to chill, do work or have friends gather over a small meal and drinks.

» Released globally a few weeks ago, Bright is the ambitious Netflix original genre-bending film that stars Will Smith and Joel Edgerton as cops in a present-day Los Angeles inhabited by mythical creatures like orcs and elves. The film is Netflix's biggest film to date with a budget of $90 million as well as a global press tour prior to the film's release. Guru was able to be part of the Japan premiere and press junket and had an opportunity to talk to producers Eric Newman and Bryan Unkeless, director David Ayer (who also directed Will Smith in Suicide Squad), and actress Noomi Rapace about Bright.
