SCB and FWD Sign Largest-ever Life Insurance Partnership in Southeast Asia

» Mr. Arthid Nanthawithaya (2nd from right), Siam Commercial Bank PLC’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Executive Committee and Mr. Huynh Thanh Phong (1st from left), Group Chief Executive Officer of FWD Group, have recently signed a Share Sale Agreement regarding the sale of SCB’s entire stake in SCB Life Assurance Public Company Limited to FWD, and entering into a long-term bancassurance partnership. This marks the largest life insurance partnership in Southeast Asia. Under this 15-year partnership, SCB will distribute FWD’s life insurance products through the Bank’s best-in-class distribution channels. This partnership will create long-term value for customers and all stakeholders, combining SCB’s large customer base and deep local market insight with FWD’s innovative products and expertise in digital technology.
