I only have her baby picture. She was in Cha-Chan-Sounds province (north of Thailand) at the time. Does anyone know what would be the best way to look for her? I thought about placing ads in newspaper, but not sure how to go about that from the US. Anyone has idea? Thanks.[/quote:h49q0iph] Um, you might want to start by looking in [i:h49q0iph]the right province[/i:h49q0iph] because there isn't anything remotely close to "Cha-Chan-Sounds" province in the North. Cha-choeng-sao, perhaps ? Or even [i:h49q0iph]The City of Chachoengsao[/i:h49q0iph] ? But that's EAST. See the list of provinces here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Provinces_of_Thailand

    • kokomo commented : I got her baby picture, her name, and name of the store (no longer exist) where she was adopted. The adoption was not legal and there is no paper trail. None of the very distance relative I still have in Thailand know anything about it. Thank you Butterfly for your suggestions and encouragement. I will think more seriously about spending a few months looking for her in Thailand. Even though I was born in Thailand, I know more about the US than Thailand, and I speak English better than Thai....what a shame!
