ยป All-female rock band The Black Nails consists of frontwoman/guitarist Pattaraporn "Synth" Saengsamang, bassist Nuengruethai "May" Issaard and drummer Malaivee "Mew" Swangpol. Even though two of them were born into very musical families (Pattaraporn's father Narongruch Saengsamang is a music producer while Malaivee is the daughter of celebrated songwriter Jackrawut Swangpol), their path to a music career has been no shortcut. They have shared a similar journey in proving themselves by entering talent searches, going to music schools and working with small labels. When the three crossed paths, they formed The Black Nails. The trio successfully passed an audition and landed a deal at rock giant Genie Records, as they released their first single Duay Dee (Going Fine) under Showroom Projekt.
