ยป The Office of Basic Education Commission (Obec) decided to introduce the Smart Classrooms project to replace the tablet PC project for students which was scrapped by the National Council for Peace and Order. The 1.17-billion-baht leftover budget, which was earlier earmarked to procure tablets for Mathayom 1 students in the North and Northeast, would be shifted and will be complemented by 3 billion baht from the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology.
