The tripping mermaid

» If you don't want to prepare for summer by the pool in a girly, sexy or sweet manner, there's the cheeky and kooky option available with Lalalove. Their summer collection, aptly named "Tripping Mermaid", features an electrifying underwater world, where a mermaid makes her way through a bevy of neon jellyfish, coral reefs, cigarettes, octopuses and sea eels. All of the graphics are brought to life by a collaboration with Oh Hatairat, that cool gal who influences the hip-conscious with her big-eyed illustrations, magazine columns and music. Even though she is mostly known as the bassist of the band Futon, her works as an illustrator are also recognisable, with their own eerie femininity.
