The next link in this series of events is as predictable as the rainy season in these parts. President Barack Obama and the opposition Republican Party candidates already are in full cry: "Blame the foreigners." A variety of slogans already appearing on the US election campaign trail clearly present the message we will be hearing from now through November, and probably beyond.
