» Molam singer Rasmee Wayrana was the very picture of comfort as she lounged under a tree’s shade, taking a break from the recording studio and concert venues. Next to her was a glass of red wine. A cigarette was lit. And she was content as she talked about her latest achievement. Just last month, she was named among the 50 Asians To Watch by The Straits Times. Among the five people from Thailand that were named, she was the only woman.

» 1. Missed last year’s "The Doraemon Exhibition Tokyo 2017"? No need for tears, as basics giant Uniqlo is bringing one of the designs that was showcased during the exhibition into their stores. Twenty-eight leading Japanese artists were invited to create artworks featuring Doraemon, and Uniqlo is bringing the work of one of the most popular and recognised artists to your closet. Everybody’s favourite robot cat gets floral treatment like you’ve never seen before by everybody’s favourite flowery artist Takashi Murakami. A total of 15 tees will be featuring Doraemon with a splash of Murakami flowers in all colours of the rainbow. There will be a plush toy in the same Murakami style too, but for the traditionalists, check out the line of tees using graphics from the original comics. » Virahya "Gina" Pattarachokchai has kept the same Instagram profile picture since January 2016. It was a picture of herself standing next to her supermodel coach and mentor Metinee "Lukkade" Kingpayome, during the final round of The Face Thailand Season 2 -- the modelling-themed reality TV show. That night, the aspiring model and actress was declared the show's runner-up, not the winner as she hoped.

» 1 May 17 is the annual International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (Idahot). To mark the day, Museum Siam is hosting a "Gender Illumination" exhibition to explore the history and life stories of LGBTI people in Thailand. On display are children's artworks, pride costumes and LGBTI printed media, plus personal items shared by members of the community that reflect their gender expression, as well as acceptance and rejection from society. The exhibition is open daily (except for Mondays), 10am-6pm, until Sept 30. Free admission. Suitable for people of all genders and ages.

» 1 The popular American thriller series Westworld has returned for a second season. On this occasion, HBO Asia is treating its fans to a number of activities, including a Maze Game that can be played on a dedicated micro-site (hboasia.com/HBO/shows/westworld). The Maze Game allows fans to explore more of the Westworld universe, while participants have until June 25 to direct the ball to the centre of the maze, with 12 levels to clear. Fans who obtain the 10 top scores will win exclusive Westworld merchandise and prizes. If you're planning a visit to Singapore next month, HBO Asia is also holding a virtual reality event from May 10 to May 19.

» 1 Feel like putting your strength to the test? Under Armour is bringing back its annual urban fitness challenge Test Of Will, to be held on April 28 and 29 at CentralWorld. Participants will complete physical challenges -- Over and Under (hurdles), Deadball Squats, Kettlebell Farmer Walks and Bear Crawls -- in a four-minute circuit challenge. Contestants will be divided into age categories: 18-34, 35-44 and 45+. Each will be scored based on the maximum number of correct repetitions they can achieve within one minute.
