Anant Ambani Receives Global Humanitarian Award

» Washington DC: Global Humane Society, the international brand of American Humane Society, the oldest national humane organisation in the United States and the largest certifier of animal welfare, has presented Mr Anant Ambani, founder of the wildlife conservation centre Vantara, with the Global Humanitarian Award for Animal Welfare. Mr Ambani is the youngest ever and the first Asian to receive this prestigious recognition. The award was conferred on him at an international event that brought together leaders committed to wildlife protection and animal welfare.

Covestro acquires Vencorex sites in US, Thailand

» Bangkok, August 18, 2025 — German materials manufacturer Covestro has signed an agreement with Vencorex Holding SAS, a subsidiary of Thai chemical company PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited, to acquire two legal entities with stand-alone production sites for HDI (Hexamethylene Diisocyanate) derivatives in Rayong, Thailand, and Freeport, the United States. The legal entities and sites were formerly part of the French aliphatics specialist Vencorex. With this acquisition, Covestro strategically expands and improves its aliphatics production portfolio in the US and in the Asia-Pacific region. The company thereby further advances the implementation of its "Sustainable Future" corporate strategy by continuing its growth in profitable and innovative business areas such as Coatings and Adhesives.

City Dynamic Taps SEAFCO for Wireless Road Project

» City Dynamic, a joint venture between City Realty and Swire Properties, has appointed Seafco Public Company Limited (SEAFCO) as the piling contractor for its ultra-luxury residential development on Wireless Road. This appointment follows the project's Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) approval in the first quarter of 2025, allowing construction to commence. Piling and diaphragm wall works are scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2025.
